Parks and domains

Sinuously curving flowerbeds dotted with clumps of box of varying density surround a raised terrace overlooking the lake. Carefully selected seasonal flowers ensure that these beds are a mass of blue colour at certain times of the year. The existing rich arborisation has been carefully preserved, partly because of the invaluable way in which it presents views in the vicinity of the garden, especially the grand vista of the lake which, framed in this way, appears as virgin as landscapes from the New World.
